Jennifer Wiltz, MD, MPH, FAAP, FAHA, is a Senior Medical Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with extensive experience in pediatric medicine and epidemiology. A board-certified pediatrician, Jennifer has served since June 2009 and has been involved in significant public health initiatives, including medical strike teams and various population-level health interventions. Jennifer has also contributed to research, notably through a publication investigating Nodding Syndrome in Uganda. Previously, Jennifer held positions as a Captain in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service and as a White House Data Fellow. Jennifer's education includes an academic pediatric fellowship and a Master of Public Health from the University of Rochester, an MD from the University of Florida College of Medicine, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Human Nutrition and Zoology from the University of Florida.
