Matthew Kim

Matthew Kim is an experienced professional in the field of electrical engineering, currently serving as a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) since January 2018. Prior to this role, Matthew worked as an RF Engineer at Crown Castle from January 2017 to January 2018, where responsibilities included frequency and power analysis, continuous wave testing, and collaboration with major telecommunications companies to enhance LTE and 5G networks. Additionally, Matthew gained experience at USPTO as a Student Junior Examiner in mid-2016 and interned as a Project Systems Engineer at PCTEST Engineering Laboratory in 2014. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems from the University of Maryland, earned between 2012 and 2016.
