Shawn Granen

Shawn Granen is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in information technology and network management. Currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at the USS Midway Museum since March 2021, Shawn also operates SMG Consulting, providing IT infrastructure management for diverse clients since January 2009. Previous roles include Network Engineer for the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy and System Administrator for the USRA/NASA SOFIA Project, where Shawn led the design and implementation of complex IT systems. Early career experience includes positions at MGM Studios and Los Alamos National Laboratory, showcasing a solid foundation in network management and customer service. Shawn holds an education from Brandman University and graduated from William S. Hart High School.
