Veronica Armstrong-Evans is a Board Member at USS MIDWAY MUSEUM. Prior to that, they were with Joint Commission for 3 years, Office of the Medical Inspector General for 4 years, Naval Medical Center San Diego for 5 years, Navy Personnel Command for 3 years, and US Navy for 24 years.
Veronica started their career with the US Navy in 1992 and served as a CAPT, Nurse Corps - Director of Nursing Services for 24 years. In 2005, they became the Nurse Corps Assignment Officer with the Navy Personnel Command and served in that role for 3 years. In 2008, they took on the role of Senior Nurse Executive - Directorate for Medical Services with Naval Medical Center San Diego and served in that role for 5 years. In 2016, they became an Inspector of hospital, clinic, medical training, drug screening labs and research facilty programs with the Office of the Medical Inspector General and served in that role for 4 years. Most recently, in 2019, they became a Board Member at USS MIDWAY MUSEUM.
Veronica Armstrong-Evans has a Master's degree in Healthcare Management from Webster University, a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Norfolk State University, and an Associate's degree in Nursing from Tidewater Community College. Veronica also has certification from LinkedIn in Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences and certification from the California Secretary of State in Notary Public Commission and Loan Signing Specialist.
