Nick Grossman

Nick Grossman is a Partner at Union Square Ventures. Nick was previously a Visiting Scholar at the MIT Media Lab's Center for Civic Media, and the Managing Director of Civic Commons at Code for America. Nick also served as the Director of OpenPlans Labs, where they oversaw the development of various projects focused on cities and data. These projects include MTA Bus Time, Open311, OpenTripPlanner, and OpenPlans Transportation. Nick has also been involved with TransportationCamp, NY Transit Data, Streetsblog, Streetfilms, and GothamSchools.

Nick Grossman has a BA in Urban Studies from Stanford University. Nick is also self-taught in programming, law, and philosophy of technology.
