Abhishek Gupta

Abhishek Gupta, Ph.D., is a Research Instructor and Postdoctoral Researcher at UT Health San Antonio's Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine since August 2021. Prior to this role, Abhishek served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ohio University from August 2018 to July 2021, and at the Central Drug Research Institute in Lucknow from January 2013 to April 2018, where research focused on adipocyte biology and insulin resistance. Abhishek earned a Ph.D. in Insulin Resistance and Adipocyte Biology from the Central Drug Research Institute in June 2018, as well as a Master of Science in Biotechnology from CSJM University, Kanpur, in 2011.
