Chiquita A. Collins

Chiquita A. Collins, PhD, MA, currently serves as Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer at UT Health San Antonio, where roles also include Associate Professor and Vice Dean for Inclusion & Diversity. With extensive experience in higher education, Collins previously held various positions at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, including Associate Dean of Diversity & Cultural Competence and Interim Director. Additional roles include Adjunct Professor at The University of Texas School of Public Health and Research Director at Altarum. Collins founded Collins Research and Evaluation Services (CRES), LLC, and has a strong academic background with a PhD in Social Demography and a Master's degree in Sociology from the University of Michigan, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Illinois Chicago.
