David Cappelli

David Cappelli currently serves as a Professor and Associate Dean at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas since June 2020. Prior to this role, David was the Director of Research in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at UTHSCSA and held the position of Professor and Chair of the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from April 2018 to June 2020. Additionally, David directed the Dental Public Health Residency Program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio from 2005 to 2018. David earned a BS, MPH, and DMD in Dental Medicine and Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh and a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Public Health.
