Deepu Kurian

Deepu Kurian, PhD, MDP, currently serves as Associate Vice President of Business Operations at the University of Houston-Clear Lake since May 2025 and as a Consultant and Associate Dean of Finance & Administration at UT Health San Antonio since January 2023. Previously, Deepu held the position of Executive Director for Academic Affairs & Business Operations at the University of Houston from January 2016 to January 2023, as well as College Business Administrator at the University of Houston-Downtown and Department Business Administrator at the University of Houston. Deepu co-founded JD Infolabs, where leadership was provided as Director from March 2008 to February 2011, and also managed HR & Administration at eTEK Group. Early career experiences include roles in hospitality project management, hotel operations, and human resources. Deepu earned a PhD in Human Resources Development from Texas A&M University, alongside a master's in Management from Houston Christian University and an MBA from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
