Erin Finley

Erin Finley is a Professor in the Division of Hospital Medicine and the Division of Behavioral Sciences at UTHSCSA, where a distinguished career spans over a decade beginning in September 2010. Finley serves as the Founding Director of the Dissemination and Implementation Science Core at the Center for Research to Advance Community Health and the Institute for the Integration of Medicine and Science. Previous roles include Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Adjunct Assistant Professor in various departments at UTHSCSA. Finley is also a Core Investigator and Lead of the Qualitative Methods Group at the VA HSR Center for the Study of Healthcare Innovation, Implementation and Policy, affiliated with the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System since January 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Research Health Scientist at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System from October 2010 to January 2021. Academic credentials include a PhD in Anthropology from Emory University, a Master of Public Health in Behavioral Science from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Emory College of Arts and Sciences.
