Hemal Nayak

Hemal Nayak currently serves as the Interim Chief of the Janey and Dolph Briscoe Division of Cardiology and as a Professor of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio since August 2022. Previously, Hemal Nayak was an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Chicago from October 2010 to August 2022. Hemal Nayak earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai between 1989 and 1991 and a Bachelor of Science (BS) from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at the City College of New York from 1984 to 1989.
