Sherlie Schickedanz

Sherlie Schickedanz has over 20 years of experience in various roles related to information systems and technology. Sherlie began their career at Kansas State University, where they worked as an Office Specialist in the Registrar's Office before transitioning to an Applications Programmer II role. In 2003, they joined Western Farmers Electric Cooperative as a Systems Analyst, specializing in PeopleSoft Financials and HCM.

In 2006, Sherlie moved to UT Health San Antonio, where they held multiple positions. Sherlie started as an ERP Programmer Analyst - Intermediate, focusing on PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM, and Campus Solutions. Sherlie then moved up to a leadership role as the ERP Programmer Analyst - Lead, where they led a new Process Analysis team and played a key role in system configuration and business process development.

In their subsequent role as the Manager of Application Systems Analysis and Programing, Business Intelligence, Sherlie managed various systems and upgrades, including Oracle Data Warehouse and SQL Server. Sherlie also built a new Business Intelligence Team, emphasizing diversity.

Most recently, Sherlie served as the Director of Information Systems at UT Health San Antonio. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing a portfolio of enterprise applications, including Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Grants Management, Payroll, Dental Clinical Electronic Health Records, Human Capital Management, and Student Systems.

Throughout their career, Sherlie has demonstrated expertise in project management, technical analysis, and team leadership.

Sherlie Schickedanz obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Oklahoma State University, where they attended from 1994 to 1997. In addition, they hold certifications in Six Sigma Green Belt and ITIL Foundation V3, obtained in 2015 and 2011 respectively.
