Stephanie McClain

Stephanie McClain has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations and roles. Stephanie is currently working at UT Health San Antonio as the Sr Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations and has been in this role since March 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the same organization starting from January 2021.

Before joining UT Health San Antonio, Stephanie worked at The Ecumenical Center as a Program Director from January 2020 to January 2021. Stephanie also worked at Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas, Inc. where they held the positions of Project Impact Manager from October 2014 to December 2019, and Grant Development Manager from January 2014 to October 2014.

Stephanie's earlier experiences include working at UTHSCSA Center for Medical Humanities & Ethics as a Sr. Project Manager/Business Admin from November 2008 to January 2014, and at UTMB Institute for the Medical Humanities as a Grants Manager from 2006 to 2008.

Furthermore, Stephanie has also worked at Clear Creek Independent School District as a Discretionary Grants Coordinator in 2005, and at UTMB Development as an Assistant Director Development Communications from 2000 to 2005. At UTMB Development, they focused on promoting health in Texas through writing materials for the development team officers and supporting a capital campaign.

Stephanie McClain obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, which they attended from 1997 to 1999. Stephanie has also acquired additional certifications in various areas such as Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Healthcare, Mental Health First Aid, Technology of Participation (ToP) Facilitation Methods, and Project Management Professional.
