Vicki Powers

Vicki Powers is a seasoned marketing and communications professional with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist at UT Physicians since May 2023, Vicki is responsible for crafting patient-driven success stories, producing communication related to EPIC for physicians, and managing web content and publications. Previously, Vicki held the position of Lead Coordinator for Communications at Baylor College of Medicine, where responsibilities included creating newsletter content and launching social media. Vicki has also managed marketing and communications for the Houston Recovery Center, worked as a business writer for APQC, and founded Houston on the Cheap. Vicki's career includes significant roles in communications coordination at various companies, beginning as a Communications Coordinator at Pool Energy Services Company. Vicki holds a Bachelor of Journalism in Public Relations from The University of Texas at Austin.
