Derek Wride

Derek Wride serves as the Chief Executive Officer of MoonTax since January 2022 and has been an Advisor for the Utah Blockchain Coalition since February 2022. Wride is also a Partner at Olson & Partners Law, focusing on supporting Bitcoin miners with legal representation and tax refund claims. Previous roles include Creative Director at Life With Scott, Director/Producer at Wride Cinema Inc., and Creative Producer at Snazzy Labs Media, among others. Wride holds a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Arts from Utah Valley University and a degree in DeFi Accounting & Tax from Moontax University.
