Aaron Martinsen has extensive experience in the energy industry, with a particular focus on natural gas. Aaron began their career as an Analyst at Enron Global Markets in 2000 before moving on to American Electric Power as a Coal Trader in 2002. From 2005 to 2011, Martinsen served as President at CAP Inc., providing consulting services to energy industry clients. In 2006, they joined The Cline Group as Director of Commercial Operations until 2010. Martinsen then spent four years at J.P. Morgan as Executive Director, specializing in Global Commodities. In 2015, they became President of SWEVCO-SABW, LLC, which later transformed into Utah Gas Corp, where they played a key role in acquiring and developing natural gas operations. Since 2017, Martinsen has been Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Utah Gas Corp, overseeing a large-scale natural gas operation covering hundreds of thousands of acres in Colorado and Utah.
Aaron Martinsen attended Albion High School from 1991 to 1995, where they completed their high school education. Aaron then went on to enroll at the Colorado School of Mines from 1995 to 1999, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering.
