Trenton Shelton

Trenton Shelton has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Trenton started their career as a Pipefitter/Welder's Helper at Shelton Welding Services, LLC in 2016 and worked there until 2018. In 2019, they interned at WPX Energy as a Production Engineering Intern, where they conducted a well data analysis study, designed a more efficient rod string, and monitored wells using the SCADA system. In 2020, Shelton returned to Shelton Welding Services, LLC as a Project Manager, where they worked until 2021. Trenton then joined TLC Pipeline Construction, Inc. as a Project Manager from April 2021 to January 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Production Engineer at Utah Gas Corp since January 2022.

Trenton Shelton began their education journey in 2014 at Colorado Northwestern Community College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts degree in Business. After completing their associate degree in 2016, they continued their education at Colorado School of Mines, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering in 2020. Building on their undergraduate studies, Shelton further pursued their academic aspirations at Colorado School of Mines and completed a Master of Science degree in Engineering & Technology Management in 2021.
