Elizabeth Christensen

Elizabeth Christensen is an experienced grant professional with a robust background in proposal development and institutional giving. Currently serving as a Proposal Development Specialist at Utah State University since July 2018, Elizabeth supports faculty in preparing grant proposals for various government and foundation sponsors. In addition to expertise in grant writing and document development through ownership of Christensen Consulting, LLC, Elizabeth holds experience as an Associate at Grant Management Associates and previously served in multiple roles at Jewish Family Service of San Diego, including Director of Institutional Giving, where responsibilities included managing a $10 million revenue stream and supervising grant writing staff. Elizabeth’s earlier experience encompasses grant evaluation, development assistance at San Diego State University Research Foundation, and leadership roles such as President of Fine Arts in Rockbridge. Elizabeth holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from James Madison University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from California State University-Sacramento.
