Iuri Viotti Perisse is a Research Assistant Professor at Utah State University since April 2016, focusing on gene editing and genome engineering tools to develop large animal models for biomedical and agricultural applications, as well as creating a gene editing platform for correcting genetic mutations. Previously, Iuri served as a Postdoctoral Researcher and completed a PhD in Animal Molecular Genetics at Utah State University, specializing in gene editing and genetic engineering. Iuri's academic background includes studying Biochemistry at the University of East London and earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Universidade Federal de Viçosa.
