Titilope Dokunmu

Titilope Dokunmu is a Research Assistant Professor at Texas Southern University, involved with the Centre for Biomedical and Minority Health Research since November 2023. Previously, Titilope held various academic positions at Covenant University from March 2013 to May 2025, including Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Additionally, Titilope served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Tulane University School of Medicine from July 2019 to June 2020 and worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Dillard University from August 2019 to April 2020. Early in the career, Titilope contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Malaria Research Laboratory/University College Hospital/University of Ibadan from September 2007 to February 2013, focusing on malaria research and drug efficacy. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Babcock University (2002-2006), a Master's degree in Pharmacology from the University of Ibadan (2007-2009), and a PhD in Pharmacology and Therapeutics from the University of Ibadan (2009-2015).
