Mica McKinney

VP, Legal Affairs at Utah State University

Mica McKinney is the VP of Legal Affairs at Utah State University. Mica has worked in the legal field for over 10 years. Mica started their career as a clerk to Judge Dee V. Benson at the United States District Court for the District of Utah. Mica then clerked for Chief Justice Christine M. Durham at the Utah Supreme Court. After working in both the judicial and private sector, they decided to join Utah State University. In their current role, they lead the legal team and provides counsel on a variety of legal issues.

Mica McKinney is a graduate of Lone Peak High School. Mica earned their B.S. from Utah State University in Political Science and Journalism. Mica then went on to earn their J.D. from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law.
