Michael Bowen

Michael Bowen has extensive experience in development and fundraising within the higher education sector, currently serving as the Associate Vice President for Development at Utah State University since June 2015, where responsibilities include supervising fundraising efforts across nine colleges. Previously, Michael held the position of Senior Director of Development at the same institution, successfully raising over $4 million in the first year of the new Central Advancement Unit and significantly exceeding prior fundraising benchmarks. Additional roles include Director of Development, managing over 100 endowments and overseeing major gifting initiatives at Utah State University, as well as positions in athletic development and marketing. Educational achievements include an MBA and MS in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a BS in Business Administration from Brigham Young University.
