Thomas Higbee

Thomas Higbee is a Professor and Department Head at Utah State University, holding this position since August 2002, where teaching focuses on behavior analysis and single subject research methodology within special education programs. Concurrently, Thomas serves as an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah Medical School. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Clinician at Spectrum Center Schools and Programs from June 1999 to June 2002, where responsibilities involved providing clinical support, supervising behavior analysts and educational specialists, and staff training in behavior analysis principles. Thomas earned a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno and a B.A. in Psychology from Utah State University. Research interests are centered on children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
