Madeline Wehle Crandall is the Director of Basketball Communications for the Utah Jazz. Madeline has over five years of experience working in marketing and communications, with a focus on event planning and execution, paid media campaigns, and creative content development.

Madeline got their start in the sports industry with the Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment group, where they managed communications for the NBA’s Utah Jazz and the MiLB’s Salt Lake Bees. In this role, they were responsible for creating and executing strategic publicity campaigns and events, developing communications materials, and securing media coverage. Madeline also created the organization's first-ever community report summarizing companywide successes.

After leaving Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment, Madeline started their own marketing communications consulting business, providing public relations and marketing communications consultation to a variety of companies and organizations. Madeline then went on to work as a Marketing Specialist for Best Friends Animal Society, where they led marketing efforts for annual events and fundraising initiatives, managed paid media campaigns, and oversaw digital assets and creative processes.

In their current role as Director of Basketball Communications for the Utah Jazz, Madeline is responsible for creating and executing publicity campaigns, writing feature stories, preparing executives and players for interviews, and developing social media messaging.

Madeline Wehle Crandall has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communications from George Mason University.
