Therese Pelow

Therese Pelow currently serves as Stf generaldirektör och stabschef at Utbetalningsmyndigheten since April 2023. Previously, Pelow held the position of State Secretary to the Minister for Financial Markets at Regeringskansliet, Finansdepartementet from December 2021 to November 2022, and served as Budget Director at Migrationsverket from December 2018 to December 2021. From January 2011 to December 2018, Pelow worked at Regeringskansliet, focusing on various roles including Political Advisor for Minister of Finance Magdalena Andersson and desk officer in the budget department. Additional experience includes roles at the Embassy of Sweden, Statistics Sweden, and the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in San Francisco & Silicon Valley. Pelow holds a Master of Science in Public Administration with a major in policy analysis from the University of Gothenburg and a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from the same institution. Further educational pursuits include studies at Harvard University and Umeå University.
