Eric K. Scholl

Eric K. Scholl is a retired investment professional and private investor. He is a former Managing Director of Allianz Global Investors where he oversaw various high-yield bond and leveraged loan portfolios, including the Allianz Short Duration High Yield Bond Fund.

He has served as Portfolio Manager for numerous other institutional high-yield bond separate accounts, including Axa Enterprise High Yield bond Fund and the Prudential High Yield Bond/ Caywood-Scholl Fund.

Mr. Scholl was previously the CEO and co-CIO of Caywood-Scholl Capital Management (CSCM), a $2 billion asset management firm that was sold to RCM Capital Management in 1998. The firm continued to operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of RCM until merging into Allianz Global Investors in 2013.

At Caywood-Scholl, Mr. Scholl was involved in all facets of managing and growing the company, leading his team in the areas of new business development, structured finance and portfolio management.

Prior to joining Caywood-Scholl, Mr. Scholl worked on Wall Street at Merrill Lynch and as a Managing Director in charge of high yield bonds at L.F. Rothschild & Company and Paine Webber. He subsequently worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, where he received a special achievement award for his work.

Mr. Scholl received his AB degree from Princeton University in 1978.
