Nathaniel Simmons

Nathaniel Simmons, GISP, currently serves as a Senior GIS Consultant at UDC since May 2024, following a role as Senior GIS Analyst at Locana from April 2021 to May 2024, where key contributions included executing ETL translations, automating workflows with Python, and creating web applications for data reporting. Prior experience includes positions as GIS Analyst at Mecklenburg County and GIS Technician at Kissimmee Utility Authority, where Nathaniel developed python tools, managed GIS projects, and maintained accurate mapping of utility infrastructure. Education includes a Master’s Degree in Geospatial Information Science and Technology from NC State Center for Geospatial Analytics and a Bachelor's Degree in Geography from Youngstown State University.
