Jasmeer Ramlal has an extensive work experience in the field of process engineering. Jasmeer started their career as a Control Engineer at Sasol Synfuels International in 2003 and later took on roles as a Senior Process Control Engineer, Principle Process Engineer, and Technology Licensor. At Sasol, they were involved in various projects related to gas to liquid processing units and coal to liquid facilities. Jasmeer also worked on process optimization, automation, and implementation of new control schemes. In 2014, Jasmeer joined Velocys as a Senior Process Engineer, where they developed design packages and operating procedures for projects. Following that, they worked at SABIC as a Process Engineering Manager, focusing on the design and development of Polyethylene facilities and project technical leadership. Currently, Jasmeer serves as the Conceptual Engineering Manager at Utility Global, where they are involved in unlocking beyond net-zero projects.
Jasmeer Ramlal has a diverse education history. In 1997 to 2000, they attended the University of KwaZulu-Natal / University of Natal, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. Jasmeer then pursued a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the same institution, completing it in the academic year 2001 to 2002.
