Mike Hammer

Mr. Hammer is Chief Administrator Officer leading the Operations, Finance and Human Resources efforts for Utility Associates. Prior to joining the firm in 2020, Mr. Hammer spent over 35 years in corporate finance and operations.

Mr. Hammer began his career with General Electric in the Financial Management Program and was quickly promoted to finance leadership positions in manufacturing, service, and financial services businesses. Over this time frame, he gained experience with acquisitions and integrations as well as Six Sigma Black Belt training. He then joined The Home Depot as finance director for their services business with a focus on growing and professionalizing the offering. Mr. Hammer was then CFO of a venture backed energy services business, a turnaround opportunity that was successfully exited. Most recently, he was Managing Director and CFO for a private investment firm making investments in private and public companies.

Mr. Hammer earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University - Bloomington in 1985 and received an M.B.A. from The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in 1993.
