Mike Coomes

Mike Coomes, PE, currently serves as Vice President for the Southern Region and Account Manager at Power Line Supply since January 2009. Prior experience includes various project management roles at Vectren from 1993 to 2009, overseeing substation and transmission line design and construction, and serving as Lead Substation Engineer. Earlier in the career, Mike Coomes worked as a Substation Engineer, responsible for comprehensive engineering and design tasks. Mike Coomes began the professional journey as a Distribution Engineer at AEP/Kentucky Power from 1990 to 1993. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, obtained between 1985 and 1990.
