Design Lead at Utility Warehouse

Caitlin Burr has a diverse and extensive work experience in graphic design and creative management. Caitlin started as a Graphic Designer at Bourquin Printers and Signs, where they handled client interactions, print specifications, and product assembly. Caitlin then moved on to Studiothink, specializing in print design and developing expertise in corporate identity design and branding materials. After that, they joined Mander Portman Woodward Limited as a Graphic Design and Print Manager, overseeing a brand refresh and collaborating with print representatives and freelancers.

Caitlin then worked as a Design and Creative Manager at Steve Nash Fitness World and Sports Club, leading a creative team and being responsible for project execution. Following that, they embarked on freelance work as a Contract Graphic Designer, cultivating their personal design aesthetic and collaborating with various companies and individuals. Caitlin also freelanced at Ipsos Mori in their art department.

Most recently, Caitlin joined Utility Warehouse as a Senior Designer and later took on the role of Design Lead. In this position, they developed the design team, managed freelancers, recruited and onboarded new members, led creative review sessions, and handled invoices. Caitlin also played a key role in implementing a corporate rebrand, working on brand specifications, event collateral, internal communications, and Keynote presentations.

Caitlin Burr completed a Certificate in Digital Marketing at RED Academy in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of Vancouver from 2007 to 2009. Caitlin completed their secondary education at D.W. Poppy Secondary School from 2002 to 2007.
