Tom Szuszai

Tom Szuszai has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tom is currently working as the VP of Engineering at Utility Warehouse, where they are responsible for managing five teams across three key areas: Customer Experience, Comms Platform, and Advisor Tools. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Engineering at Utility Warehouse and was responsible for overseeing various aspects, including mobile app development, website management, and CRM.

Before joining Utility Warehouse, Tom worked as the Chief Technical Officer at Firedrop, a London-based startup. Tom'srole involved establishing sustainable software engineering and delivery practices to efficiently handle increasing contracts. In addition, they served as a Software Development Consultant at Armakuni for a brief period.

Tom's career also includes working at WorkForce Software as a Software Development Manager and Senior Software Engineer, where they introduced industry best practices and played a vital role in the adoption of Agile methodologies. Tom started as a Full Stack Engineer at Miribase, where they were responsible for designing and implementing various web service frameworks and portal solutions.

Tom's extensive experience in the field of digital media began when they co-founded and led Net-Solutions Hungary as the Technical Lead. During their tenure, they designed and built various online systems catering to different business needs. Tom'scareer began as a creative programmer at Sárkány Zrt.

Tom Szuszai earned a Bachelor's degree in IT from Eötvös Loránd University, attending from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they received their high school diploma from Bárdos László Gimnázium és Szakközépiskola, where they studied from 1998 to 2005. In 2015, they obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance.
