Ankush Roy

Ankush Roy is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in human resources and learning and development across various financial institutions. Currently serving as the Head of Learning and Development and Employee Engagement at Utkarsh Small Finance Bank since June 2025, Ankush previously held the position of Head of Talent Development at Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd from November 2023 to June 2025. Prior roles include Deputy Vice President of HR & Training at Utkarsh Small Finance Bank, Guest Faculty at ITM Group of Institutions, and Learning & Development Professional at TRUST. Ankush also served as Vice President & Business Head of the School of Learning at Tiksna Mission Trust and had a decade-long tenure at Reliance Capital Asset Management Ltd in various training and sales roles. Early career experiences include positions at IDBI Bank, ICICI Life Insurance Co. Ltd., and Standard Chartered Finance Limited. Ankush holds a Master's degree in Finance specializing in Investment & Portfolio Management from the University of Lucknow.
