Elizabeth Fingado has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Elizabeth started their career at The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in 1996, where they served as the Director of Managed Care Operations until 2000. Elizabeth then transitioned to the role of Director of Practice Support Services at The University of New Mexico School of Medicine from 2000 to 2002. Following this, they became the Director of Information Solutions at The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center from 2002 to 2007. Elizabeth then joined UNM Medical Group in 2007 as the Associate Vice President of Quality & Clinical Process Improvement until 2011.

In 2011, Elizabeth joined UNM Health System as the Executive Director of Clinical Practice Excellence until 2013. Elizabeth then moved to Denver Health, where they held various leadership roles, including Director of Lean Systems Improvement from 2013 to 2015 and Director of Strategic Support Services from 2015 until September 2020.

Elizabeth's most recent position is at UTMB Healthcare Systems, Inc. where they currently serve as the Vice President of System Optimization and Performance.

Elizabeth Fingado holds a BSMT degree in Medical Technology from The University of New Mexico. Additionally, they have earned an MBA degree from the University of Phoenix.
