Bishawjit Mallick

Bishawjit Mallick is an Associate Professor of Climate Change and International Development Studies at Utrecht University since June 2022. Mallick has previously served as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Fellow at the University of Colorado Boulder and Technische Universität Dresden, focusing on topics such as human mobility patterns in the textile industry in Bangladesh and the non-migration of at-risk populations. Additional roles include Research Associate at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Foreign Research Fellow at Vanderbilt University, where field research coordination was undertaken. Mallick's academic journey includes a Dr. Ing. in Crisis Management and Environmental Migration from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and a Master's in Urban Planning.
