Marc van Maanen

Marc Van Maanen has extensive experience in international trade and transport law, serving as a Partner at Van Traa Advocaten since August 1995. In academia, Marc has held positions as a Guest Lecturer at Universiteit Utrecht since January 2021, focusing on Commercial Law, and has been involved with the Erasmus School of Law since January 2012, teaching Trade Finance Law. Additionally, Marc has been active in various professional organizations, including serving as a board member of the Koninklijke Vereeniging Handelsrecht since October 2014 and as a member of the ICC Banking Commission since July 2010. Marc's earlier legal experience includes working as a lawyer at NautaDutilh from February 1991 to September 1995 and studying law at Universiteit Utrecht and Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica.
