Margot Van Der Starre

Margot van der Starre has been Vice President of the Executive Board of Utrecht University since 15 March 2021. The Utrecht Executive Board also consists of President Anton Pijpers and Rector Magnificus Henk Kummeling.

Margot van der Starre, as Vice President, directs a number of important business processes within the university. She believes in the power of community building and teamwork; where support services, academic staff and students quickly find and appreciate each other, Utrecht University performs at its best. According to Van der Starre, open business operations are needed to further strengthen and accelerate innovation.

The corona crisis has created a more hybrid form of working: at home and in the university buildings. This requires major adjustments in the areas of accommodation and ICT.
