Mohammadhossein Ravanbakhsh

Mohammadhossein Ravanbakhsh is the Founder and CEO of Blomitec, established in March 2021, focusing on innovative agrifood solutions that enhance sustainability and profitability, including pesticide alternatives and smart fertilizer design. Ravanbakhsh is also a Guest Researcher at Utrecht University since May 2015, where contributions include lectures on agro-tech and biotechnology, and a postdoctoral project on rhizosphere microbiome research. Previous experience includes project coordination for UNESCO's SUMAMAD initiative aimed at sustainable dryland farming, founding a bioremediation startup, and leading projects on climate change at UNU-EHS. Ravanbakhsh holds a PhD from Utrecht University and advanced degrees in Agro-biotech and Soil Sciences from Shiraz and Ferdowsi Universities.
