Ted Sanders

Ted Sanders holds the position of Vice Rector for Research and is a Full Professor of Discourse Studies and Language and Communication at Utrecht University's Faculty of Humanities, where involvement spans several key academic roles, including Vice Dean of the Graduate School and past Head of the Department of Languages, Literature and Communication. Sanders served as the chair of the Governing Board of the Society for Text and Discourse from 2010 to 2013 and currently occupies the role of Gasthoogleraar for the Desiderius Erasmus Chair at Université catholique de Louvain for the 2023-24 academic year. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor of Discourse Studies at Tilburg University. Sanders completed a Ph.D. in Discourse Studies and an MA in Language and Literature at Tilburg University, following VWO education at Hertog Jan College Valkenswaard.
