Michael Mueller

Michael Mueller is the Executive Vice President for Finance and Business Affairs, Chief Financial Officer at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Prior to their current position, Mueller worked as an IT Consultant for various companies including TEKsystems, Frontier Communications, Fannie Mae, InSys Consulting Services, Inc., and CenturyLink.

Mueller began their career in 2009 as a Consultant for CenturyLink. Michael then became an IT Consultant for InSys Consulting Services in 2011 before moving to Fannie Mae in 2012. That same year they began working for Frontier Communications as an IT Consultant and continued in that role until 2013 when they joined TEKsystems. Mueller remained with TEKsystems until 2015 when they took their current position with The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.

Throughout their career, Mueller has been responsible for support of Oracle Identity Management (OIM) and Control SA access management applications. Michael has also served as a team SME for the interface between OIM and the Information Resource Center's Teradata provisioning platform. In addition, Mueller has developed data feed files for OIM and Control SA and has troubleshot and resolved Production Support tickets.

Michael Mueller reports to Guy Bailey, President. Michael Mueller works with Doug Arney - SVP, Administration Support Services, Michael B. Hocker - Dean, School of Medicine & SVP for UT Health Rio Grande Valley, and Veronica Gonzales - SVP, Governmental & Community Relations.
