Samantha Allen

Samantha Allen currently serves as Chief of Staff and Chief Compliance Officer at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley since March 2021. Previously, Samantha held the position of Associate Vice President for Pediatric and Adolescent Programs at UT Southwestern Medical Center from August 2013 to April 2020. Prior to that, Samantha worked as Assistant General Counsel at Baylor Health Care System from July 2012 to August 2013 and as an Attorney at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas from March 2004 to July 2012. Samantha Allen earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Southern Methodist University between 1998 and 2001 and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Baylor University from 1984 to 1988.
