Daan Meboer

Daan Meboer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Daan began their career as a Human Resource Intern at Marel in 2010 and later worked as a Logistics Intern at Van Gansewinkel in 2011. In 2013, they conducted a Master's thesis on Operation Management & Logistics with a focus on supply chain management and performance measurement systems in the frozen supply chain of Unilever, executed by Nabuurs Logistics, Partner Logistics, and Unilever. During this time, they also worked as a VBA programmer at Stratecution. From 2013 to 2017, they joined H&S Group as a Business Engineer, where they were responsible for various projects benefiting the different business units of the company. In 2017, they became the CEO of UTURN B.V., a company dedicated to making the world of container transport more efficient, transparent, sustainable, and fair for all parties by utilizing data technology and a transport management platform. Additionally, they worked as a Pyrotechnician at Heron Fireworks from 2009 onwards, specializing in Pyromusicals – shows synchronized on music. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Facilities Employee at Hotel & Congrescentrum Papendal from 2006 to 2012.

Daan Meboer has a strong education background in operations management and logistics. Daan obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Technische bedrijfskunde from Eindhoven University of Technology, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Daan further pursued their education at the same university and earned their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Operations Management and Logistics from 2011 to 2013.

In addition to their academic degrees, Daan Meboer has also obtained several certifications. In 2010, they obtained the Befähigungsschein, Vuurwerkdeskundige Duitsland, though the institution is unknown. Daan also received the Persoonscertificering Vuurwerkdeskundige from KIWA in the same year. Later in 2015, they obtained the PRINCE2, Foundation certification from APMG-International, followed by the Prince 2 Practitioner certification from APMG International in September of the same year.
