Aaron Sachs

Aaron Sachs is a Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgeon at UVA Health, overseeing a new reflux program since October 2022. Prior to this role, Aaron practiced at UPMC Pinnacle from September 2019 to September 2022 as a Minimally Invasive Surgeon, where responsibilities included resident education and directing the UPMC Comprehensive Reflux Program. Fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Surgery, Bariatrics, and Flexible Endoscopy was completed at the Minnesota Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery from July 2018 to July 2019. Earlier experiences include a General Surgery Residency at WellSpan York Hospital from July 2014 to July 2018 and a General Surgery Internship at Detroit Medical Center in 2013-2014.
