Christian Wessel

Christian Wessel has had a long and successful career in the media industry. Christian began their career in 1996 at Axel Springer as a Verlagskoordinator AUTO BILD / AS Auto Verlag, Verlagskoordinator BILD, Verlagsreferent Verlagsgeschäftsführung BILD, and Werkstudent / Auszubildender. In 2008 they moved to Saarbrücker Zeitung where they served as a Mitglied des Aufsichtsrats und des Prüfungsausschusses. In 2010, they became the CFO of hgv Hanseatische Gesellschaft für Verlagsservice GmbH. In 2006, they joined Verlagsgruppe Georg von Holtzbrinck as Projektleiter Publikumsverlage Deutschland and Senior Controller Zeitungen. In 2011, they began working at Raffay Group as CFO and at RI Digital Ventures GmbH as Managing Director. In 2019, they co-founded UVENTIONS GmbH. In 2021, they became Projektpartner at ZukunftMoor. Finally, in 2022 they joined GMPVC German Media Pool GmbH as Mitglied Investor Advisory Board.

Christian Wessel completed a Master of Laws - LL.M. in Wirtschaftsrecht from NORDAKADEMIE Graduate School between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Diplom-Kaufmann (FH) in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from Fachhochschule Nordakademie Elmshorn between 1996 and 2000.
