Asrar Damdam

Asrar Damdam has had a diverse work experience, beginning in 2014 as a Power Generation Services Co-op at General Electric (GE). In 2015, they were a PLCs Technical Trainee at Pilz, a Supply Chain Intern at Unilever, and a Visiting Student at KAUST. In 2019, they were an Exhibitor at CES, an Edad 2019 at McKinsey & Company, a Mentor and Hero Training at Draper University, and a Founder & CEO and Founder & CTO at UVERA. In 2020, they were the L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science - Middle East Award Winner.

Asrar Damdam began their educational career in 2011 when they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Effat University. Asrar then attended KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) from 2016 to 2018, earning a Master's Degree in Electrophysics. Currently, they are pursuing a Ph.D. in Internet of Food from KAUST, with an expected graduation date of 2022.
