Sydney Paul

Sydney Paul currently serves as the Associate Director of Marketing and Communications at the UVI Research and Technology Park, a position held since December 2018, where responsibilities include supporting business attraction and entrepreneurship activities, conducting tech market research, and managing communications and public relations. Prior experience includes roles such as Communications Director for the Senate Majority Leader in the U.S. Virgin Islands Legislature and various reporting and communications positions including work with the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games Organizing Committee, the Documentary Center at The George Washington University, and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Sydney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Chicago, a Master of Journalism from the University of Maryland, a Graduate Certificate in Documentary Filmmaking from The George Washington University, and a Diploma in Olympism from the International Olympic Academy for Young Participants.
