Annie Kerns

Annie Kerns has a diverse work experience. Annie started their career in 2010 as a Graduate Assistant at West Virginia University. In 2012, they joined the West Virginia Investment Management Board as an Alternative Investment Accountant. In 2015, Annie became a Senior Accountant at the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, where they worked until 2017. Annie'smost recent role is Director of Investment Operations at UVIMCO, which they have been fulfilling since 2017.

Annie Kerns began their education in 2006 at West Virginia University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General. Annie completed their undergraduate studies in 2010. Annie then went on to pursue further education at the same university, starting in 2010 and ending in 2012, during which they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance. Additionally, Annie Kerns also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at West Virginia University from 2010 to 2011.

The University of Virginia Investment Management Company (UVIMCO) provides investment management services for the University of Virginia and its associated organizations in support of UVA’s mission, strategy, and operating goals. UVIMCO also manages a Short Term Pool for the University and its associated organizations with near-term liquidity needs. University's consolidated endowment ranks among the five largest endowments for public institutions of higher education and among the twenty largest of all colleges and universities in the United States. Equally important, the endowment-per-student ratio is one of the largest among U.S. public institutions of higher education.
