Steph Harrill Kyle

Steph Harrill Kyle has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations. Steph started their career at Centro Hispano of Dane County as a Food Pantry Coordinator. Afterwards, they worked at Hunter College Liberty Partnership Program as an After-School Program Coordinator, focusing on providing drop-out prevention programming for students. Steph then moved on to Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York, where they served as an Employment Program Consultant and later as a Program Developer and Employment Specialist, supporting individuals with visual impairments in securing and retaining employment.

In 2013, Steph joined the Morgridge Center for Public Service as the Badger Volunteer Program Coordinator, where they successfully restructured the program for better effectiveness and increased student participation. Steph also served as the Badger Volunteers Director, identifying new opportunities to expand civic engagement programming. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant for the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, assisting in the establishment of the Force for Positive Change Awards.

Steph's commitment to community engagement led their to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they took on roles such as Associate Lecturer and Lecturer in the School of Human Ecology. In these positions, they taught courses exploring financial capability and asset building for vulnerable families, as well as a course on public service and democracy.

Currently, Steph is employed at UW Credit Union as the Director of Financial Inclusion & Community Engagement, where they are responsible for promoting access to financial literacy and developing community partnerships.

Steph Harrill Kyle has a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) degree from Columbia University, with a concentration in Social Enterprise Administration and School Based Services. Steph completed their education at Columbia University in 2010. Prior to that, Steph pursued their Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. At the University of Wisconsin-Madison, they studied Advocacy in Multi-Cultural Settings and Integrated Liberal Studies, although the specific start and end years for their undergraduate education are not provided.
