David Kunstman

David Kunstman began their work experience in 1995 as Chief Resident at Wisconsin Avenue Family Care Center in Aurora Health Care. In 1998, they joined UW Medical Foundation as a Family Physician. In 2005, they started working as the Medical Director of Ambulatory Informatics at UW Health, a position they held until 2019. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Associate Chief Medical Information Officer for Ambulatory at UW Health. David then became the Interim Chief Medical Information Officer at UW Health from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Chief Medical Information Officer at UW Health.

David Kunstman attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Bacteriology. David then continued their education at the same university and earned a Medical Doctor (MD) degree between 1991 and 1995.

In terms of additional certifications, David Kunstman obtained the Board of Certification in Family Medicine from The American Board of Family Medicine in April 2015. David also obtained the Board of Certification in Clinical Informatics from the American Board of Preventive Medicine in January 2018. Additionally, they have a certification in EpicCare Ambulatory from Epic, although the specific month and year of attainment is not provided.
