Matt Gordy

Matt Gordy is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in education and career services. Currently serving as a Career Services Advisor at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse since July 2011, Matt advises CASSH students on career and post-graduation planning. Previous roles include Assistant Track and Field Coach, where Matt developed and implemented training programs for various track athletes, and Future Center Advisor at La Crosse Promise, assisting high school students and alumni with post-secondary goals. Matt’s teaching experience spans several years as a high school English teacher and an 8th-grade language arts teacher, fostering positive relationships and preparing students for future success. Matt holds a Master’s Degree in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education and a Bachelor of Science in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
